High Tide House
High Tide House is a comfortable cabin nestled in the alder woods. This cabin has 3 separate bedrooms and can sleep up to 6. The cabin is equipped with cold running water, wood stove, propane stove for heating water, solar powered lights and a boardwalk to the outdoor toilet.
High Tide House, for many years, was the Bailey's main living quarters while commercial fishing. The cabin was built in the spring of 1980 when upon arrival to the camp their original dwelling had been washed into the ocean after the harsh winter. Hence why this cabin is built further back from the beach. The cabin overlooks Ann Bailey's organic vegetable garden, and provides a nice view of the bay including Mt. Spur. |
