![]() Wildlife abounds in this remote area. Eagles, seals, shore and seabirds can be seen frequently. Brown and Black bears and Beluga whales are often sighted, though it depends on the year and the weather. June 15th to July 20th is generally the time of year when sightseeing and wildlife viewing is the best. The eagles are feeding at the mouth of the river and are seen daily as they gather food for their chicks. With the grass being lower earlier in the summer it is possible to view bears as they graze.
